Cable EMI Shielding

Shieldwrap is used for EMI shielding and for dissipating corona discharge at high-voltage splices. It is an all-metal open mesh that is knitted from a single continuous wire into the form of a cylindrical stocking, and then flattened into a 2-ply tape. When it is 'bandaged' onto a cable using half-overlap, it provides an efficient 4-layer mesh shielding cover.
