How To Order
Tech-Etch Part Numbers are unique because they describe the actual part. This makes it easy to order and also to understand the specifications of any strip.

The first three digits of the Part Number designate the actual pitch of the part. Letters then designate the part's style. The third section designates either Clip-on and flange dimensions or the width of the strip. The next section is for the length in inches.

Please Note: Strips may be supplied cut to any length, provided that length is a multiple of a full finger.

In the final sections of the Part Number, information is provided about lances and finishes described below. Finger Strips are stocked with a clean and bright finish, but other finishes are available and listed below.

Low Force Compression Shielding
Many shielding strips are now available with Low Force Compression, indicated by "TF" Style in their performance data. If "TF" Style is not indicated, consult the factory for availability. To order shielding with Low Force Compression, simply add the letters "TF" to the front of the Part Number.
